Spicy almost dry Fish

Bekti Fillet 750 gm
Oil 3 tbs
Onion 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger 1 pc. chopped
Green Chillies 4 no. chopped
Red Chilli 6 whole
Garlic 2 flakes(chopped)
Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
Salt to taste
Dhania Pdr. 1½ tsp
Jeera Pdr. 1½ tsp
Turmeric Pdr ½ tsp.
Chilli Pdr. 1 tsp
Water ½ cup
Lemon Juice 2 tbs
Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp.
Curry Patta 6 nos.

- Wash and pat dry the fish. Cut into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a kadhai / frying pan,
- Add Whole Red Chillies and garlic and curry patta. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add onions and fry until soft. Add the ginger and chopped green chillies.
- Add tomatoes, salt, dhania, jeera and chilli powders. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the fish pieces alongwith water, cook for 10 minutes, until fish is tender and water has almost evaporated.
- Mix in lemon juice and hara dhania. Serve hot, accompanied by
Jeera pulao or Chapati.
