Kosumbari

The Maharashtrian Kosumbari



    Coconut Grated	½ cup
    Roasted Peanut	½ cup
    Grated Carrots	1 lb.
    Coriander Leaves    ¼ cup chopped
    Lime Juice		2 tbsp.
    Sugar		½ tsp
    Salt 		to taste
    Green Chillies	5 Slit into two
    Cumin Seeds		¼ tsp


	


  • Grate the coconut and the Carrots.
  • Coarsely grind peanuts and mix with carrots and coconut.
  • Mix Lemon Juice,Salt and Sugar and pour over the grated mixtures.
  • Heat oil and add the Jeera and when Jeera crackles add the slit green chillies.
  • Pour over the grated mixture and serve.
