Dried Prawn Pickle....

Jhinge ka Achar



	Dried Prawns		1 Kg.
	Red Chillies 		120 gms.
	Cumin Seeds		80 gms.
	Mustard Seeds		30 gms.
	Garlic 			80 gms.
	Dates/Khajoor		10 gms.
	Ginger 			60 gms.
	Green Chillies 		120 gms.
	Sesame oil(Til)		350 ml.
	Vinegar			1.2 Lt.
	Sugar			120 gms.
	Salt			 to taste



  • Clean the prawns and wash them in Vinegar.
  • Gring the spices and the dates to a paste in vinegar.
  • Heat the oil and fry the paste.
  • Add the prawns and cook on a low heat till done.
  • Add sugar and vinegar and continue to cook for a few more minutes.
  • Store in jars when cool.
