Coconut Chutney
Thengai Thoviyal...the heart of South Indian Accompaniment
Coconut (grated) ½ cup
Tamarind Liquid 1 tsp
Red Chilies 2
Salt to taste
Mustard Seeds ¼ tsp
Urad Dhal ¼ tsp
Curry Leaves a bunch
- Grind first 4 ingredients mention above into fine paste.
- Add water if needed.
- Mix well.
- Season it with fried mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad dhal.
- Can be made fiery hot or mild as per the taste.
