Coconut Chutney

Thengai Thoviyal...the heart of South Indian Accompaniment



	Coconut (grated) 	½ cup
	Tamarind Liquid 	1 tsp
	Red Chilies 		2
	Salt 			to taste
	Mustard Seeds		¼ tsp
	Urad Dhal		¼ tsp
	Curry Leaves 		a bunch



  • Grind first 4 ingredients mention above into fine paste.
  • Add water if needed.
  • Mix well.
  • Season it with fried mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad dhal.
  • Can be made fiery hot or mild as per the taste.
