Channa Pindi....

Pindi Style Kabuli Chana



	Kabuli Channa		1 kg
	Soda			a pinch
	Salt			to taste
	Oil			200 ml
	Chat Masala		1 tbs.
	Channa Masala		3 tbs.
	Dhania Pdr.		1 tsp.
	Red Chillies Pdr.	1 tsp.
	Garam Masala		1 dsp.
	Ginger Juliennes	15 gms.
	Potato Cubes Fried	150 gms.
	Tomato Quaters		3 nos.
	Dhania Chopped		for garnish
	


  • Wash and soak channa over night with soda.
  • Wash,put to boil with salt, simmer for 3 hours to make soft.
  • Drain, add salt,channa masala, chat masala, dhania and red chilli pdr.
    and garam masala together.
  • Mix 1/2 of it with channa, other 1/2 fry in oil and pour over channa.
  • Cook on a slow fire or pud on dum. Add potatoes dhania.
  • Note Optional: Another variation is adding fried hing and ajwain to the channa along with the mixed masala. Quantity of masala in this case can be reduced.
