Boondi Raita
Boondi(Gram Flour dumpling) Raita

Plain Yogurt 3 cups
Bengal Gram Flour ½ cup
Red Chilli Pdr. 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Baking Powder ½ tsp
Oil deep frying
Cumin Powder ½ tsp

- Mix together Red chilli powder, salt and besan.
- Add the baking Powder and make a batter of dropping consistency.
- With a slotted spoon, pour drops of this into
hot oil and deep fry till golden brown.
- Drain the oil and soak in hot water.
- .Whisk the yogurt and add the salt, chilli powder and a little cumin powder.
- Sqeeze the water out of the 'boondi' and add to the yogurt.
- Check salt and garnish with a little Jeera powder and chilli powder.
- Serve chilled.
