Thandai





	Milk,			 1 lt.
	Almonds			2 cups chopped
	Sugar			1 cup
	Cumin seeds		1 tbs.
	Pepper Pdr		1 tbs.
	Melon Seeds		2 tbs.
	Khus Khus		2 tbs.
	Rose essence		 few drops
	Ice 			crushed ice


  • Soak almonds overnight and remove the skin later.
  • Soak the poppy seeds in ½ cup of milk for five hours.
  • Boil the milk and keep aside to cool.
  • Grind poppy seeds, almonds, cumin seeds, and pepper
    while adding some water to make a thick paste.
  • Add sugar and grind again. Add to this the cool milk.
  • Remove this mixture through a sieve.
  • Add crushed ice, rose essence and serve chilled, garnished with chopped almonds.
    Serving : 4
