Peas with Cottage cheese...wow
Paneer 250 Grams
Green Peas 250 Grams
Onion Chopped 2 Nos
Ginger Paste 1 tblspn
Garlic Paste 1 tblsn
Green chillies 2 no.
Dhania Powder ½ tsp
Turmeric pdr ¼ tsp
Red Chilli pdr ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
Garam masala 1 Teaspn
Tomato Chopped 4 no.
Oil 100 ML
Coriander chopped ¼ bunch
Salt to taste
- Cut paneer into cubes fry pale brown.
- Heat oil in a pan, add jeera.
- Add onion & saute till brown, add ginger/garlic paste.
- If you are using frozen peas, add them now.
- Add the dry masalas and then the chopped tomatoes.
- Cook till it leaves oil.
- Add fresh green peas & salt.
- Cover the lid & cook on slow fire till peas are cooked.
- Add paneer cubes in the end and simmer.
- Add chopped coriander just before turning the fire off and cover with a lid.
- Serve immediately with basmati rice and assorted chutneys and raita.
